Effects Implemented
My first devlog post. It probably shows.
What's a Yume Nikki fangame without effects? How about a glorified walking simulator? That's why I'm happy to report that this project finally has some meat on its bones. It's probably still buggy as hell, but hey, I tried my best considering this is 99% a one person project. God bless these two. They wrangled my spaghetti code like cowboys, bending its ass into shape.
There are a total of twelve new effects to collect. They should all be sparkling with personality peppered with a sense of humour. I'd show you them, but wouldn't that take away the surprise of getting to see them for yourself? These effects are married harmoniously with new environments made from the ground up to personally complement them.
All of this to say that traversing the dreamscapes of the eight comatose victims will not be as straightforward now, and that's for the best.
